Engaging Fathers
Engaging Fathers Is a 12-week research-based group that helps fathers navigate the child welfare system and supports them in working with social workers, the courts, and their children. The group provides education around child development, domestic violence, co-parenting, and being an engaged father.
The goal of the program is to provide fathers with the tools to be able to be an active part of their child’s life while they are involved with the child welfare system; as well as preparing themselves for the possibility of being a placement option, either in the short term, or for permanent reunification.
