SUMMARY:Women's and Mom's Support Group
DESCRIPTION:The Women’s and Mom’s group provides support to those currently experiencing or who have previously experienced domestic violence\, housing instability\, at-risk of homelessness\, currently homeless\, and/or in recovery. Research-based parenting programs (Triple P\, Safe Care\, and Families Moving Forward) were utilized to gather the most pertinent and impactful information to create a tailored curriculum. The group focuses on parenting strategies\, trauma informed parenting\, resiliency\, executive functioning\, women empowerment\, and financial education.

Do you need help with past due rent or utilities because of COVID-19? This drop-in Housing Help clinic is designed for you. \nTalk with staff from Tacomaprobono and Pierce County Human Services\, to get answers to your basic questions about eviction prevention related to COVID-19\, legal protections for tenants\, the Eviction Moratorium\, and the Eviction Resolution Program\, or apply for rental/utility assistance on-site. Tacomaprobono will also be able help determine if you’re eligible for 1:1 assistance through their legal clinics\, and complete that intake process. \nPlease register in advance to help us get an idea of how many attendees to expect. \n
